Quantum's New SDLT 600A With DLTxchange Technology Receives Two Industry Awards at National Association26 April 2005

(NYSE: DSS - News), a global leader in storage, today announced that its recently previewed SDLT 600A tape drive with DLTxchange(TM) Technology received two industry awards at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas last week. SDLT 600A with DLTxchange was awarded the "Editor's Pick of Show NAB 2005" from Digital TV Magazine and the "Government Video Salute Award" from Government Video Magazine. Digital TV's Editor's Pick of Show award is given to companies for advancement of the art and science of television. A total of 30 winners are selected by a jury of 12 television production and engineering experts at the NAB convention each year.
The Government Video Salute is awarded to a select group of manufacturers in recognition of innovative achievement in the advancement of video technology. The editorial staff of the magazine identifies exemplary new products and technologies debuting at NAB.
