Melbourne Department of Human Services Deploys Ceragon's Wireless Solution for Closed Circuit TV Network

25 March 2007

Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: CRNT; TASE: CRNT), http://www.ceragon.com, a leading provider of high-capacity wireless backhaul solutions, today announced that The Department of Human Services in the City of Melbourne, Australia's second most populous city, is deploying Ceragon's wireless broadband solutions to ensure security and reliability for a wireless closed circuit TV network in Melbourne's public housing project.

Ceragon's FibeAir 1500P is being deployed with 400 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet upgradeable to 800 Mbps at 18 GHz in a ring topology, as well as the FibeAir 4800 unlicensed solution at 4.5 GHz in a spur configuration, providing private network backhaul for a closed circuit TV network to capture and transmit video to a central storage location. Ceragon was selected for its optimal and most cost-effective solution. Ceragon completed this implementation through the company's new partnership with Australian system integrator, Integrators Australia, and in consultation with Sinclair Knight Merz.

"Ceragon Networks provided the Department with the optimized solutions for our needs today, and future-proofed expansion for tomorrow," said Graeme Booth, Senior Project Manager, The Department of Human Services. "The closed circuit TV network in our public housing projects is mission critical in that the cost of a failure or a security breach is high. We demanded a globally proven technology solution and ultimately selected Ceragon."

"Following recent deployments of municipal networks powered by Ceragon's microwave wireless technology in the United States, we are excited to see this trend expand to Australia," said Ira Palti, President and CEO, Ceragon Networks Ltd. "Municipalities realize the technological value, cost savings and future upgradeability made possible by our wireless solutions. Ceragon is also excited to expand our partnership with the market innovating system integrator Integrators Australia."

Ceragon will be exhibiting at Wireless World 2007 in Sydney Australia, March 20-21, Booth 63, at Convergence India 2007 in New Delhi, March 20-22, Booth B81 and at CTIA in Orlando, Florida March 27-29, Booth# 1424.
