Network Engines, Inc. (NASDAQ: NENG), a leading provider of storage and security server appliance products and services, today announced the appointment of Paul Butler as Vice President, Worldwide Sales effective immediately. Butler will report directly to Greg Shortell, CEO of Network Engines and will lead the sales and channel initiatives for the Company.

Butler previously held the role of Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing for IneoQuest Technologies, a test and monitoring equipment firm for IPTV and VOIP networks selling to Telcos and Network Equipment Manufacturers. Prior to his work at IneoQuest Technologies, Paul served as Vice President of Sales for Brooktrout Technology where he grew both the international and domestic revenues. Paul came to Brooktrout via their acquisition of Lucent Technologies' Computer Telephony Products division. At Lucent CTP Paul was the Managing Director and General Manager for EMEA where he managed sales in the OEM Telecom and CTI markets. In addition, Paul has held sales positions at Siemens GPT Communications Systems, Dowty Case Communications and British Telecommunications.
Paul graduated from Liverpool's John Moores University (UK) with a Bachelor of Arts for Business Studies (with Honors).
