EFJ, Inc.'s 3e Technologies International Subsidiary Receives FIPS 140-2 Validation(TM) on Security Server

(Nasdaq: EFJI) announced today that its 3e Technologies International (3eTI) model 3e-030-2 security server cryptographic core received NIST certificate number 738 in February 2007, marking 3eTI's ninth product to be FIPS Validated(TM) by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The security server has met the robust criteria to qualify this product for use by the Department of Defense including the use of FIPS-approved algorithms and meeting operational environment requirements. The product provides security and confidentiality of data utilizing FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic functionality which is capable of dynamic key exchange and supports Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) DoD-signed certification for public key infrastructure (PKI) and full 802.11 wireless networking support.
