Harris Exploration, Inc. Appoints New Director and President

Harris Exploration, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HXPN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. George Zein to the position of Director and President of Harris Exploration, Inc. Mr. Zein is replacing Mr. Markin as the new President and Director of the company. Mr. Zein will oversee all current operations of the Company with priorities given to the confirmation and further development of the Balsapamba property, currently under an agreement letter of intent with Minera Cristal's partners in Bolivar, Ecuador. Over the past several years Mr. Zein has been involved in many senior management and consulting positions within the mining industry. Most recently, Mr. Zein anchored the development and management of several mining properties in the Republic of Tajikistan, a former state of the Soviet Union. His abilities, both corporately and politically in many foreign and often politically unsettled Countries, make him an excellent candidate to secure the required business comfort Harris Exploration expects while operating in Ecuador. Fluent in several languages including, Arabic, Persian, Russian, English and Spanish, he has consulted and advised USA, Canadian and United Kingdom-based exploration and mining companies. Mr. Zein will operate from the Ecuador offices of Harris Exploration, Inc.

Harris Exploration, Inc. is also seeking the people who are responsible for the recent unsolicited email barrage regarding the company. Harris Exploration, Inc. has recently become privy to bulk spam emails that have been sent out without consent of Harris Exploration, Inc. and will act to seek accordingly from those parties for damages suffered by the company. The company emphasized that no such unsolicited communications has come from the company, nor had the company hired anyone to distribute them. Harris Exploration, Inc. is cooperating fully with various authorities in an attempt to discover who was responsible for these emails.
