Rats Unveil Web Site Redesign

Albany N.Y. - The Albany River Rats announced today that the club's web site at www.albanyriverrats.com has been re-designed with a new look on the heels of the new affiliation with the Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes. The site, designed and hosted by InfinityProSports.com, offers the same easy to use features with new content and revamped design, which will include video highlights and player profiles.
The new site showcases team information including the club's roster, player statistics, and coaching staff biographies, as well as an expanded on-line merchandise store, along with scheduling and ticket information. Other features include details on upcoming events and promotions, links to local media coverage as well as a River Rats desktop wallpaper and screensavers. There is also a section featuring the Times Union Center with a seating chart and directions and space devoted to the Ice Mice Dance Team.
AlbanyRiverRats.com offers live streaming for both audio and video feeds for all regular season and potential playoff games through B2 Networks. The River Rats return to action on Friday, December 22, 2006 when they visit the Hamilton Bulldogs in a 7:30pm face-off at Copps Coliseum. The game broadcast can be heard on ESPN Radio 104.5FM The Team beginning with the pre-game show at 7:15pm with Don Helbig, the voice of the Albany River Rats.
The Albany River Rats, in their 14th season as members of the American Hockey League, are owned and operated by Capital District Sports Inc., and serve as the primary affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes and Colorado Avalanche.
