Lionbridge Establishes New Office in Shanghai; Expands its Operations in India and Eastern Europe

Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIOX) today announced that it is opening a new office in Shanghai and expanding its globalization, testing and development operations in Beijing; Mumbai, and Chennai, India; Warsaw; and Zilina, Slovakia. This expansion allows the Company to meet increasing client demand for global outsourcing services that combine in-country operations, client expertise, secure technology-based services and highly skilled resources. As a result, Lionbridge and its clients can reduce costs, expand program reach, and diversify end market opportunities.

Lionbridge's new office in Shanghai will deliver cost-efficient testing services for clients. In addition to the new Shanghai location, the company expects to increase its employee staffing in Beijing, Eastern Europe and India throughout 2007. This will bring the Company's total resources in these centers to more than 2,000 employees by the end of 2007.
