Rossi, Founder of Denver Firm, Joins Greenberg Traurig's Denver Office

Ronald G. Rossi, founder and managing director of Rossi & Co., P.C., announces he has joined Greenberg Traurig, LLP's corporate and securities practice in its Denver office as of counsel.
Rossi, a 29-year AV-rated attorney, specializes in guiding businesses through significant structural changes and complex financial matters such as public and private equity restructuring, friendly and hostile leveraged buyouts, and mergers and acquisitions. He also has significant experience in oil and gas work and employment matters, including downsizing workforces. Rossi also has served as the CEO of six companies, often in transition.
"Simply put, Ron is a financial problem solver for both startups and mature businesses," said David Palmer, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig's Denver office. "He has assisted clients through the dot.com, telecom, and oil and gas waves up and down, and he really understands the challenges companies face because he's been in their shoes over the past 30 years."

Most recently, Rossi was an owner and CEO of the third-largest importer and distributor of granite and marble in the United States prior to its sale to a Fortune 50 company, which occurred after extensive turn-around work and negotiations by Rossi. He's also worked extensively in the computer technology and software industries.
Rossi continues to counsel U.S. companies on business development in Europe, and European clients in their U.S., North and South American activities.

Prior to founding Rossi & Co., formerly known as Rossi & Maricle, P.C., Rossi was one of the original attorneys in the Denver branch office of Mayer, Brown & Platt (now Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw LLP).
He received both his bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Michigan. He and his wife, Catherine, have six children between them.
