LegacyTexas Bank Relies on Time Warner Telecom for Next Generation Ethernet-Based Data Connectivity

Time Warner Telecom Inc. (Nasdaq: TWTC), a leading provider of managed voice and data networking solutions for businesses, today announced a three year agreement with LegacyTexas Bank to provide a comprehensive suite of communication solutions including metro Ethernet, IP VPN, Ethernet Internet Services (EIS), and voice services. LegacyTexas Bank, with 13 locations throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex, has been serving North Texas residents and businesses for more than 40 years.

Time Warner Telecom is extending its broad metro fiber footprint for connectivity to LegacyTexas Bank's new data center in Richardson, Texas, as well as its existing data center and corporate headquarters in Plano. Time Warner Telecom is also deploying a 100 Mbps metro Ethernet connection between the two data storage sites and high bandwidth IP VPN connections between all three locations. The scalability and flexibility provided by Time Warner Telecom's IP VPN solution will enable improved data and voice communications throughout LegacyTexas Bank network.
Time Warner Telecom's IP VPN will also support LegacyTexas Bank's disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. LegacyTexas Bank selected Time Warner Telecom based on its expertise, breadth of Ethernet-based offerings and cost-effective approach to deliver IP based solutions.
