Brian McHale Named VP of Information Technology for Starz Entertainment Group

Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG) announced today that Brian McHale has joined the company as vice president of information technology (IT). McHale will be responsible for all aspects of IT including software development, database administration, service delivery and operations. McHale reports to Bill Myers, executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer and will work out of the Englewood, Colo. office.
Prior to joining SEG, McHale spent more than three years at Discovery Communications as vice president of global operations in Maryland and while in London he served as vice president of IT international for Discovery in charge of all the IT operations for the company outside of the United States.
McHale also worked for MCI for 11 years, where he began his career as manager of software development and left as director of enterprise data and management services. As director, he was responsible for global network engineering, network implementation and messaging development. While there, McHale was a recipient of MCI's Summit Club award, given only to the top one percent of employees.
