Pac-West Passes Mid-Way Point of National Build to Access Over 150 Million End-Users

Pac-West Telecomm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PACW), a leading provider of next generation and traditional voice communications services, today announced the additions of New York, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and New Jersey to its nationwide infrastructure services, surpassing the 50% completion milestone of its national expansion.
Pac-West is creating the required coverage, services and scalability necessary to support the growing VoIP industry. The company is executing on a planned nationwide expansion that will allow service providers to provide communications services to an addressable market of more than 150 million end-users in the second-half of 2006. Pac-West intends to further expand its coverage area and service offerings, creating one of the most comprehensive, single source solutions available for bridging traditional circuit-switched and next-generation IP-based services.
This national infrastructure is anticipated to serve the needs of VoIP Providers, Wireless Broadband Providers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Carriers and other Next-Generation Service Providers. Pac-West's Dial-Access and Managed Modem products will be available immediately in the new markets, to be followed by Pac-West's full suite of communication enabling products as the entire expanded footprint is brought online.
