Telekom Malaysia Americas (TMUSA) Joins the Phonomenum(TM) Minutes Marketplace: FiberNet's VoIP Minutes Trading Platform

FiberNet Telecom Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: FTGX), a leading provider of complex interconnection services, today announced that Telekom Malaysia (USA) Inc (TMUSA), a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), the leading telecommunications company in Malaysia, has selected its Phonomenum Minutes Marketplace as a trading platform for TM's VoIP minutes.
The Phonomenum Minutes Marketplace is a carrier-class clearinghouse for minutes-based VoIP traffic. TMUSA can now directly buy and sell the origination and termination of domestic and international minutes-based voice services.

Through sophisticated data partitioning software, the Phonomenum Minutes Marketplace enables carriers to offer pricing schedules that are selectively tailored to individual trading partners, while masking sensitive data from competitors. Marketplace participants can choose to distribute price information in ways that best suit their market focus.

The Phonomenum Minutes Marketplace is accessible via the FiberNet 60 Hudson Street Meet-Me-Room, and it leverages FiberNet's extensive network infrastructure, facilities and capacity to interconnect over 650 service providers.
