Ericsson's charging and value-added services solutions selected by Warid Telecom

Warid Telecom (Warid) has chosen Ericsson's (NASDAQ: ERICY) real-timecharging solution, as well as value-added services solutions (VAS),to be deployed in its Bangladesh network. Covering 61 districts inBangladesh, the project is expected to be completed this year.
Under the agreement signed recently, Ericsson will supply Warid withits charging system, providing the mobile operator withfunctionalities such as real-time costs and spending control, andreal-time bonus and balance notifications.
The agreement also includes the provisioning of VAS solutions such asMMS, SMS, WAP, voice mail services (VMS) and Missed Call Notification(MCN), enabling Warid to offer new revenue-generating services to itscustomers.
