Aperto Networks and EDX Wireless Partner to Offer Advanced Solutions for WiMAX Network Planning

Aperto Networks, developer of the world's mostadvanced WiMAX base stations and subscriber units, announced today amarketing relationship with EDX Wireless to offer a network planning toolto WiMAX service providers to help them design, deploy, and optimize theirWiMAX networks.
EDX Wireless' premiere planning tool, EDX SignalPro®(http://www.edx.com/products/sp.php), is an advanced, comprehensive, andflexible software package with specialized modules and customizablefeatures that can be individually tailored to meet a WiMAX serviceprovider's specific needs.
The partnership, which includes co-marketing, training, and productintegration, strengthens Aperto's relationships with its customers byenhancing Aperto's in-house network-planning service. Under therelationship, Aperto will broaden its use of SignalPro for its in-housenetwork planning and continue to endorse its use by network planningprofessionals and WiMAX carriers.
