Autodesk Congratulates NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge Award Winners and Finalists

Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSK) congratulates all finalists and winners of the 2005/2006 NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge Awards. Several of the nominees used Autodesk's Location Services solutions to realize their award-winning application ideas, including Social Networking category winner Proxpro. Winners were announced last week during CTIA WIRELESS 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge (http://www.lbschallenge.com/ ) is a location based services (LBS) application development contest held in conjunction with CTIA Wireless. Awards acknowledge excellence in the development of location enhanced services in categories such as: Business Applications, Entertainment & Leisure, Navigation & Traffic, and Social Networking. The awards ceremony, produced by NAVTEQ, celebrates creative achievements in Location Based Services as recognized by a panel of industry experts.
