Sunrise Telecom(R) Incorporated (Pink Sheets: SRTI.PK) today introduced a new SHDSL Module for its SunSet MTT(R) Family of handheld platforms for access network service installation, verification, and troubleshooting applications. The new device, the SSMTT-14B SHDSL Module, provides a complete and thorough testing tool set for installing and qualifying SHDSL circuits in one compact, easy-to-use unit with both 2-wire and 4-wire turn-up test capabilities and support for STU-C and STU-R operation modes. The integrated SHDSL module provides detailed link turn-up and network connectivity testing that verifies service all the way to the ISP. Operating in STU-R or STU-C mode, modem status results such as rate, SNR margin and attenuation can be determined. End-to-end connectivity of the network to the ISP is verified using PING testing. The SSMTT-14B is also ideal for service technicians trying to pre-qualify and predict circuit performance prior to DSLAM installation.
