John De Santis and Sam Rollins Appointed to Tablus Board of Directors

Tablus Inc., a leading provider of content protection solutions, today announced the appointments of John De Santis and Sam Rollins to the Tablus board of directors. As part of Tablus' ongoing efforts to provide "best-in-class" content security with its comprehensive desktop, network and data discovery products, the company is adding two senior level executives with extensive backgrounds in corporate security and data privacy. Their experience and knowledge will help direct the company in its fight against insider threats, especially in the areas of corporate compliance for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Payment Card Industry (PCI)-related data.
De Santis has more than 25 years of sales, marketing and general management experience in the telecommunications and information technologies fields and has held management positions with both start-ups and large international public companies. His most recent position was President and CEO of Sygate Technologies, Inc., recently acquired by Symantec Corporation. Prior to Sygate, De Santis served as senior vice president for Network Computing Devices, and also was vice president, European operations for Cincinnati Bell Information Systems (now Convergys Corporation). De Santis is an alumnus of Fairfield University, and completed the Stanford University Executive Institute Program for Management of High-Technology Companies.
Rollins has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology industry, where his previous assignments have included IT infrastructure and software development, network engineering, policy development and strategic planning. He is currently the senior vice president of information security for a large financial services company. Rollins has held previous positions with Nike, IBM, Standard Insurance and AT&T Corporations. Rollins is an alumnus of Reed College.
