ETT Partners With Virtela to Deliver Global Managed MPLS and DSL Network Services

13 January 2006

LONDON and DENVER, Jan. 10 -- ETT, the independent integrator of tailor-made data communications solutions for multinational organizations, and Virtela, a global network solutions company, today announced a partnership that enables ETT to expand its network service offerings and extend global reach for ETT customers through Virtela.

Under the agreement, ETT will resell Virtela's suite of managed MPLS and DSL Virtual Private Network (VPN) services. Virtela's MPLS Service Fabric is the industry's first MPLS service to provide optimal path routing and automatic fail-over across multiple carrier networks, ensuring maximum performance, uptime and global reach. The service also uniquely maintains class-of-service across multiple carriers to achieve the highest quality end-to-end. Virtela's Global DSL Service delivers managed business-class DSL connectivity to an unprecedented 100+ countries, leveraging Virtela's relationships with more than 230 network service providers throughout the world.

"ETT customers can now benefit from a broader range of expertly managed services through a single source to better meet their network needs on an international basis," said ETT CEO Christopher Britton. "Our partnership with Virtela will make it even easier for corporate customers to exploit the latest network technologies whilst delivering a high return on their investment."

Virtela offers a single point of contact for global ordering, provisioning, 24x7 Network Operations Center support, billing and customer care. The company's unique multi-carrier architecture also enables leading end-to-end service level agreements, including the first global performance guarantees for managed DSL VPN services, granular down to the country level.

"We have gained a strong European partner in ETT," said Virtela CEO Larry Morgan. "Virtela is excited to further expand our international sales channel by joining forces with another leading managed services provider that shares our vision for providing premium network services through an innovative multi-carrier model."
