Eclipsys Sunrise(TM) Clinical Suite Selected by University of California, Irvine Medical Center

Eclipsys Corporation(R) (Nasdaq: ECLP), The Outcomes Company(R), today announced that the University of California, Irvine Medical Center (UCI Medical Center) in Orange, California, has selected multiple products from the company's Sunrise clinical suite of healthcare information technology solutions. The advanced clinical solutions will be activated in 2007 in advance of the opening of UCI's new, state-of-the-art facility in late 2008.

A long-time user of the Eclipsys 7000(TM) heritage clinical information system, UCI Medical Center will implement the latest version of Sunrise Clinical Manager(TM), the award-winning foundation of the Sunrise clinical suite, as well as other integrated Sunrise advanced clinical solutions: Sunrise ED Manager(TM), Sunrise Medication Manager(TM), Knowledge-Based Charting(TM) and Sunrise Ambulatory Care Manager(TM).
