Dilon Technologies' Strategic Plan of Global Expansion Being Realized With Partnerships in Europe and Canada

Dilon Technologies, LLC -- a U.S. manufacturer and supplier of high-resolution molecular imaging systems -- moves into Europe and Canada with new sales partnerships and camera installations this fall. The first European installation of the Dilon 6800 Gamma Camera will be December 2005 in the Royal Free Hospital in London. More installations will quickly follow into other EU countries and Canada.
Dilon's compact, mobile system is niched in breast imaging, and primarily serves as an adjunctive procedure to mammography. Additional applications for this high-resolution technology include the parathyroid and pediatric applications -- as well as body parts small enough to fit within the 6 inch x 8 inch field of view.
Medical has become Dilon's exclusive Pan-European distributor, and its UK division will support the introduction of this advanced imaging technology into Europe. Dr. John Buscombe, a renowned nuclear imaging and breast specialist, receives the first camera and will lead innovative medicine on molecular imaging that augments the diagnostic process for early breast cancer detection.
The AG Medical group specializes in promoting and distributing high-tech, innovative medical imaging devices throughout Europe; with operational headquarters near Paris. AG will perform all related business services of marketing, sales, training and technical support for the development of Dilon's product lines in Europe.
Medical Imaging Systems Inc., headquartered in Ontario, will lead sales of Dilon's products across Canada. MIS' operations span globally, with commerce in diagnostic imaging sales, regulatory affairs, construction of medical treatment facilities, development of radioisotopes and product delivery through affiliated companies.
Both AG and MIS have benchmarked their success by capitalizing on market development and distribution of emerging cancer detection products. Dilon's molecular diagnostics pair well with the mission of both companies, and is a major stride for realizing its international presence.
BSGI with the Dilon 6800 (BSGI) is a molecular breast imaging technique that has proven to be an effective tool in the early detection of breast cancer and in the differentiation of malignant and benign tumors. Better than its predecessor, scintimammography, BSGI relies on the advanced imaging technology of anatomic- specific detectors and superior positioning to optimize the results of functional breast imaging.
