AirGATE Technologies and AGM Telecom Select Franklin County Jail to Test Inmate Identification System

The X-Change Corporation's (OTCBB:XCHC) wholly owned subsidiary, AirGATE Technologies, Inc., working with AGM Telecom, has selected Franklin County Jail to test its inmate identification system. Franklin County Jail is a correctional facility located outside of Mount Vernon, Texas.
For the ninety-day trial, AirGATE will provide radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled wristbands for inmates and integrate its RFID scanner within the AGM telephones at the Franklin facility.
The scanner reads the inmate identification from the inmate's wristband. It can be used with or without a personal identification number (PIN) and is suitable for both collect and debit card calls. The system is designed to prevent or eliminate fraudulent phone calls.
At the successful conclusion of this trial period, AirGATE will grant AGM an exclusive license for the technology for a period of one year, which may be extended. AirGATE will be compensated per phone call for use of its technology. Inmates make over 1,000,000 phone calls per day in correctional institutions throughout the US.
