European Patent Allowed for Aqua Dyne Water Purification Technology
21 November 2005
European patent application has been granted for the JetWater purification technology developed by Australian-based water reuse specialists Aqua Dyne Inc. (Aqua Dyne Inc. OTC Bulletin Board - AQDY).
This follows the recent granting of US patent protection and as a result provides the company with increased protection as well as opportunities in major world markets.
In addition, ongoing research and development programs have further added to Aqua Dyne's unique technology with two new patent-pending registrations, maintaining Aqua Dyne as a leader of thermal desalination.
Aqua Dyne's JetWater technology is based on an efficient, evaporation based process, which recycles up to 97 per cent of feed water while meeting emerging international and national standards on environmental emissions.
The system is designed to be used in a variety of industry applications including mining, mineral processing, power generation, quality food manufacturing as well as Municipal landfill leachate processing, or it can be used to produce drinking water by desalinating sea water or ground water.
The JetWater System is based on utilizing an evaporation technology, which is nature's own way supplying the world with clean water. The system can be made up in singular or a modular configuration offering the ability to purify from half a million liters to more than 10 million liters per day of ultra pure distilled water.
When the Jetwater system has access to waste heat energy sources, the co-generation effect can reduce operational costs, with the added potential benefit of generating environmental credits.
