Proxyconn Launches Distributed Denial Of Service Protection for its Acceleration System

Proxyconn, Inc. has just announced that its Acceleration Servers are now shipped with protection against distributed denial of service attacks (DDOS). This feature is targeted for large and medium size ISPs. ISPs implementing the Proxyconn Acceleration System would now be able to protect themselves against attempts to disrupt their acceleration service to users.
The majority of the dialup users in the US already enjoy accelerated Internet service; it is only a matter of time before Denial of Service Attacks would be launched against acceleration servers around the world. Proxyconn is ready to work with ISPs using competing products on implementing this vital protection.
