ITG Successfully Hosts their First Customer Conference – ITG Connections

Information Technology Group (ITG) successfully hosted their inaugural customer conference – ITG Connections – on September 13 in Anaheim, CA. The conference drew over 100 people who spent the afternoon learning how to maximize their software investment, discovering new ways to use technology, and networking with industry peers and ITG team members.
Connections featured eight different sessions with topics ranging from MAS 90, MAS 500, ACCPAC Tips & Tricks, Crystal Reports, CRM, Information Security, and more. In addition to the educational sessions, ITG clients had the opportunity to interact with a number of vendors at the Connections trade show, whose products and services included computer infrastructure support, EDI, payroll services, warehouse management and more. The afternoon ended with a beautiful outdoor reception featuring prizes, food, drinks, and plenty of conversation and laughter.
ITG clients greatly enjoyed the conference and found it to be beneficial on a number of fronts. Laban Seay, MIS Manager for Vista Metals Corporation, said, “Connections was a great experience. As MIS Manager for a company that is looking at strategic ways to upgrade our technology and business processes, I received a wealth of valuable information and ideas on how to take our company to the next level.”
David Johnson, CFO of Crossfield Products, added, “It’s always hard getting out of the office, but Connections was well worth my time. In addition to the many excellent sessions, I really enjoyed the chance to network throughout the day with a number of peers as well as the ITG management and staff.
Planning for next year’s Connections conference is already under way. David Cieslak, ITG Principal, commented, “We have a fantastic group of clients. To be able to educate them, listen, and simply hang out with them in a single afternoon is a unique privilege. Connections is going to be an important part of our ongoing strategy to help our clients use technology to maximize their success.”
