emBoot Inc. Announces Realtek Semiconductor Corp’s RTL8139 and RTL8169 Series Network Adapters Received "PXE Compliant" Status

emBoot Inc. announces that Realtek Semiconductor Corp’s RTL8139 series 10/100 Ethernet controllers and RTL8169 series Gigabit Ethernet controllers have passed emBoot Labs PXE testing and certification services.
emBoot’s PXE certification services are the only formalized resource for NIC and ASIC vendors to ensure their PXE implementations are 100% compliant with the PXE specification. This is increasingly important as PXE's NIC-specific drivers are being used as transport layers for management products (e.g. Microsoft RIS, Symantec Ghost, Altiris Client Management Suite and emBoot’s iSCSI network boot software, netBoot/i).
