St. Bernard Software Named Finalist In Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for Second Consecutive Year

St. Bernard Software, a global provider of multi-layer security solutions that protect network assets at the perimeter and system level, is named to Deloitte’s prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for San Diego for the second consecutive year. The program ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 2000-2004. During that period of time, St. Bernard Software has experienced a 182% increase in revenue.
St. Bernard Software President and CEO, John Jones, credits new product introductions and enhancements, rapidly growing market demand and strong brand recognition of St. Bernard products for the fast growth over the last five years. To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, must be in business a minimum of five years, and be a technology company defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; and/or devoting a significant portion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
The rankings, which were determined by Deloitte & Touche, will officially be announced September 22, 2005 at the Estancia Hotel & Spa in San Diego. Winners of the 19 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
