Monsoon Multimedia Ships SnappySoft, Its First Consumer MPEG Video Capture Application

Monsoon Multimedia, a leading global provider of digital video technology and services, is proud to announce the release of its easy-to-use SnappySoft application that allows users to capture their own video to their PC in standard MPEG format for DVD, SVCD or VCD production.
The product is targeted at users who own a Media Center PC outfitted with a TV Tuner card or at owners of various MPEG-2 capture products (*).
In just a few clicks, users can select where their video is coming from (TV, S-Video or Composite Video), define various conditions to start and stop recording, and specify whether they want to capture for later production of DVD, SVCD or VCD. SnappySoft then performs the task automatically, utilizing high quality MPEG capabilities of user’s capture device.
After the videos are captured, users can view them on the computer (full screen or in a window) and use their favorite third-party authoring software to produce exciting DVD’s, SVCD’s or VCD’s.
