TrakSoft Announces New Software Business Model Marketing Software to Software Companies

TrakSoft, a professional software development and eCommerce organization, today announced their new business model to design and develop commercial software for software companies.

TrakSoft’s new business model involves the research, design, and development of innovative commercial software products for the private and government sector. These software product lines are then sold to software marketing companies and not marketed by TrakSoft.

“TrakSoft is a company made up of mostly professional developers,� said Gary Harris, Director and Chief Developer, “who are well educated, certified, and have many years of professional development experience under their belt. This business model makes sense since we do not have a large marketing staff.�

When a new product is developed, TrakSoft will build a supporting web site for that product. A few sales on that site will be made to obtain feedback for the product.

When a product line is sold to another software company, all exclusive rights and ownership, the complete source code, all copyrights, and web site go with the product line. TrakSoft does not sell or license each product to multiple companies. The company that purchases the product line and owns it outright.

“Prior to developing a product, we research the market to ensure the product is unique and has little or no competition,� said Clay Lundy, Lead Developer, “and to make sure the market is sizable to provide demand for the product.�

TrakSoft currently has five product lines available: Contract Analyst, PFS-Trans, SurveyTrak, VetTrak, and TrakSoft PDM. Contract Analyst is a comprehensive Contracts Management System. PFS-Trans is a powerful and flexible Project Funding Management System for transportation organizations. SurveyTrak is a Survey Point /Survey Monument Management System for Land Surveying or construction companies. VetTrak is an intuitive Veterinarian Office Management System. And TrakSoft PDM is an extremely innovative and comprehensive Personal Data Manager.
