BioDiscovery, Tecan Collaborate on Integration of Microarray Hybridization Data Management with GeneDirector®

BioDiscovery, Inc. and Tecan announced today a collaboration offering researchers a solution for comprehensive data management that helps to better interpret and verify microarray results. The collaboration is based on direct integration of data collected by Tecan’s HS series of automated hybridization stations with BioDiscovery’s GeneDirector® microarray data management software. GeneDirector® is an enterprise software solution for microarray data management that fully supports MIAME compliance. This integration enables the user to automatically capture, store and relate all the information about a particular microarray hybridization run on Tecan’s HS instruments to the arrays stored in the GeneDirector® database. This information can be used for QC purposes and also correct for process biases to ensure the accuracy of array experimental results.
