The New CDFrontEnd Gold For Web-Like CD Presentations, Brochures and Catalogues
23 June 2005
With the decreasing cost of the CD replication, the distribution of electronic brochures and electronic catalogs is now affordable for medium and small business.
VisualVision's new CDFrontEnd Gold has made the creation of the master CD affordable and easy too. The software has plenty of professional features and is easy to use, making it suitable for the non-technical business person who wants to create any kind of auto playing CD.
CDFrontEnd is all visual, no programming is required: you can quickly create and link pages, with images, video and sounds, you may include buttons that launch documents, PDF manuals, DOC, MP3, Power Point, and any linked page containing copyright license information, photographs, additional information, or any computer files.
You can take advantage of the automatic catalog population with database / CSV import: it supports categories and subcategories and automatic creation of thumbnail images (if needed). You can edit both the template used and the catalogue (each single page is fully editable).
Additional features include: 128-bit password protection, different password(s) for different users, expiry date, print and clipboard disabling, frames, hot spots, popup windows, sounds, rollover images, slides, forms, automatic shopping cart (so the client can select products and print, fax or email an order form directly from the CD), logo customization, and Flash(TM) support.
Creation of CD masters is simple. You just press a button, and a copy of the CD is created, ready to be burned onto the CD. There are no hassles, no HTML code to write, no configuration files to create, and no browser is needed on the end-user's machine. The entire process will run from the CD, with nothing installed on the user's hard disk.
The software is for MSWindows 95 and above, including Windows XP SP2; you can find more info at: http://www.cdfrontend.com
