E-Z-EM Named One of New York Area's Top Public Companies by Crain's New York Business

E-Z-EM, Inc., (NASDAQ:EZEM - News) today announced that the Company has been included in Crain's New York Business's list of the 300 largest publicly held companies in the New York area. The list ranks companies by their 2004 revenues. For E-Z-EM, this included its former subsidiary AngioDynamics, which was spun off to E-Z-EM shareholders in October of 2004.

The list of "New York Area's Largest Publicly Held Companies" is included in the May 23, 2005 issue of Crain's New York Business. The information was compiled by Standard & Poor's, a division of The McGraw-Hill Cos., from its database of publicly held companies. Companies must have their headquarters in New York City, in Westchester County, on Long Island, or in one of four counties in northern New Jersey: Bergen, Essex, Hudson or Union.
