Syscan Imaging to Present at the Society for Information Display 2005 International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition

Syscan Imaging Inc., (OTCBB: SYII.OB - News) will for the first time unveil its prototype LCD Television/Display products at the 2005 Society for Information Display (SID) Symposium in Boston. Syscan began developing technologies around image display in 2003 and expects to have its initial products in the marketplace early next year. By transferring and adapting its patented lighting control technology that it has developed through its well-established image capture business, Syscan has created state-of-the-art backlighting technologies utilizing CCFL, RGB-LED linear and multiple arrays. These new technologies can be viewed at Booth #1423 at the SID exhibition that is taking place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston May 23-27.
The event provides access to a wide range of technology and applications from high-definition flat-panel displays using both emissive and liquid-crystal technology to the latest in OLED displays and large-area projection-display systems. One can find state-of-the-art information on the latest in image processing, systems software and display processor hardware, human factors and applied vision, and exciting new applications such as multimedia and the electronic cinema.
For 42 years, the annual SID Symposium has been the premier international gathering of scientists, engineers, manufacturers and users for the discussion, presentation, viewing and evaluation of information display technology. As the must-see event for the worldwide Information Display industry, the Symposium has grown to include more than 500 booths and 6,000 attendees each year.
