PAR Technology Subsidiary Announces $2.6 Million of I/T Contract Awards with U.S. Agency

Rome Research Corporation (RRC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PTC - News), today announced the award of four separate contracts totaling $2.6 million from the General Services Administration (GSA) in support of the Naval Computer Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMSLANT) Command and from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. Under the three awards for NCTAMSLANT, RRC will provide: (1) operational, maintenance, troubleshooting and training support to the Naval Tactical Network (NTN) located at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia; (2) all inside and outside plant telecommunications services to the Naval Support Activity, Northwest Annex (NSA), Chesapeake, Virginia; and (3) telecommunications piers support services, over a three-year period, at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Base Communications Office, Norfolk, Virginia. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers award requires RRC to provide technical information and graphic support services at the Corps' district office in Walla Walla, Washington for a five-year period.

NCTAMSLANT provides classified and unclassified voice, messaging, data and video communications to ships, submarines, aircraft, and ground forces operating worldwide in support of Naval and joint missions. Responsibilities include operating, administering and maintaining control of base communications offices and communications stations in the Atlantic region. NCTAMS LANT also provides direct communications support to Unified, Specified, Fleet Commander in Chiefs (CINC) and Fleet Commanders.
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District provides a wide range of engineering and scientific services in a six-state region. The District operates five multipurpose hydropower projects that include locks, dams, and related operational and recreational facilities. The District operates and maintains 400 miles of navigable waterway on the Columbia and lower Snake Rivers. Additionally, the District provides services for emergency management, disaster assistance/recovery, management of recreational resources, wildlife habitat management, environmental cleanup and restoration, and juvenile fish transportation.
