Fairfax County EDA Sponsors IT Sales Seminar in Berlin, Germany

German firms interested in selling goods and services to state and local governments in the United States can attend a May 11 seminar in Berlin sponsored by the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) and eVentureCat GmbH. Also participating in the session will be the Berlin Business Development Corporation, ZAB Brandenburg and Economic Development Saxony GmbH.
The keynote speaker at "Doing Business with State and Local U.S. Governments" is David Molchany, the deputy county executive and chief information officer for the Fairfax County government. His topic will be "Entering the U.S. Market at the State and Local Level - A Strategic Approach to Doing Business in the USA."
Other speakers during the half-day session include Dr. Gerald L. Gordon, president and CEO of the FCEDA, speaking on "Fairfax County - Trade and Technology Hub of the East Coast," and a panel discussion on "Entering the American Market."
The seminar will take place May 11 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Ludwig Erhard Haus (Fasanenstr. 85, Berlin). An attendance fee of 50 euros will be charged and the seminar will be conducted in English.
