Celera Genomics and Celera Diagnostics to Webcast Presentation at Morgan Stanley Healthcare Conference

Applera Corporation announced today that the Celera Genomics Group (NYSE:CRA - News) and Celera Diagnostics, a joint venture of Celera Genomics and Applera's Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE:ABI - News), will webcast its presentation at the Morgan Stanley Annual Global Healthcare Unplugged Conference on Wednesday, May 4, 2005. The live webcast is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET. The conference format is for Kathy Ordonez, President of Celera Genomics and Celera Diagnostics, to provide a brief opening statement, followed by a question and answer session with a Morgan Stanley financial analyst.
