Applied Biosystems to Webcast Presentation at Morgan Stanley Healthcare Conference

Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE:ABI - News), an Applera Corporation business, will webcast its presentation at the Morgan Stanley Annual Global Healthcare Unplugged Conference on Wednesday, May 4, 2005.
The live webcast is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. ET. The conference format is for Catherine M. Burzik, President of Applied Biosystems, to provide a brief opening statement, followed by a question and answer session with a Morgan Stanley financial analyst.
