Equant Ranked Best Global IP VPN Provider for All-Round Service

Equant (Euronext Paris: EQU) (NYSE: ENT - News), has been recognised as providing best 'derived overall satisfaction' in its sector, in Telemark's 12th worldwide survey of users' opinions. The recognition from Telemark Services Ltd, a leading market intelligence firm specialising in customer satisfaction for the telecommunications industry, confirms that Equant surpasses competitors BT, AT&T, Cable & Wireless, Infonet, MCI and NTT on the IP VPN service attributes identified as most important by customers.
The results are based on a sample of 288 people who participated in the survey giving 8184 responses in total.
The award endorses Equant's ongoing commitment to being a services-based company and aligning its entire organisation around customer priorities. This has resulted in Telemark's highest overall satisfaction rating, based on an assessment of customer satisfaction levels across five categories: Network Operation, Network Installation, Customer Support, Meeting Requirements, Pricing and Billing.
Equant's full assessment, published in the report, also shows a high percentage of good, excellent and outstanding results, across the board. Since the report measures satisfaction against benchmark standards, all performances are assessed against thresholds that reflect a range of satisfaction levels.

The report compared the performance of seven global operators - BT, AT&T, Cable & Wireless, Equant, Infonet, MCI and NTT - on the IP VPN service attributes identified as most important by customers.
